Why work with a Zoho Books partner in Dubai

Anyone can sign up for Zoho Books in minutes. However, a correct setup takes longer. Your chart of accounts, VAT codes, opening balances, and bank feeds decide whether your reports are right from day one.

A UAE partner also knows the local rules. Therefore, we configure 5% VAT, zero-rated and exempt supplies, and the reverse charge on imports before you post your first invoice. Furthermore, we structure your accounts so Corporate Tax at 9% is easier to prepare at year end.

As a result, your team starts with a clean system instead of fixing mistakes later.

How a Zoho Books implementation works

Every business is different. However, most projects follow the same sequence.

  1. Discovery. We review how you invoice, buy, pay, and report today.
  2. Plan and quote. You receive a written scope and cost before any paid work starts.
  3. Setup. We configure the organisation, VAT, chart of accounts, and templates.
  4. Migration. We move your data and check closing balances against your old system.
  5. Testing. Your team posts real transactions while we review the results.
  6. Training and go-live. We train your users, then switch you to the live system.
  7. Support. We stay available after go-live for questions and fixes.

The timeline depends on your data volume, number of users, and integrations. Consequently, we confirm it in writing after the free assessment.

Built for UAE businesses

Mainland and free zone. Free zone companies often invoice both local and overseas customers. Therefore, we set up the tax treatment for each case, including zero-rated exports and free zone customers such as JAFZA, DMCC, and IFZA.

Multi-currency. Many Dubai businesses trade in USD and EUR. Furthermore, we configure AED as your base currency so reports match your statutory needs.

Industries. We work with trading, logistics, services, real estate, food and beverage, healthcare, and IT companies. Additionally, our Zoho Books guide for logistics companies shows the depth we bring to a single sector.

UAE e-invoicing and Zoho Books

Zoho is an approved ASP. Zoho Software Trading LLC appears on the Ministry of Finance list of eInvoicing Accredited Service Providers (ASPs), under accreditation number 121988. You can verify it on the official Ministry of Finance list.

What UAE e-invoicing means

UAE e-invoicing replaces emailed PDF invoices with structured PINT AE invoices. Your system creates the invoice data, and an accredited service provider sends it to your customer through the Peppol network. Therefore, a PDF alone no longer counts as a B2B e-invoice.

Consumer sales do not go through Peppol. However, every VAT-registered business must still appoint an accredited provider by its deadline.

What Zoho’s accreditation means for you

Zoho is on the Ministry’s list, so Zoho Books customers can consider Zoho’s own service before they pay for a separate provider. As a result, you may avoid managing two vendors.

However, the right setup depends on your Zoho plan, your invoice volume, and the invoice types you raise. Therefore, we confirm the details with Zoho for your account before we start.

How we prepare your business for e-invoicing

  1. Plan check. We confirm what your Zoho plan and Zoho’s current UAE options cover.
  2. Data audit. We review customer, supplier, and item records against the PINT AE fields.
  3. Fixes. We give you a prioritised list, and your team corrects the records with our support.
  4. Onboarding. We help you complete provider onboarding and set up Zoho Books.
  5. Pilot testing. We test every invoice type you raise while the pilot phase carries no fines.
  6. Training and go-live. We train your accounts team, then support your first live invoices.

The data problems that cause rejections

Most delays come from data, not software. Furthermore, these six issues cause most rejections.

Buyer TRNMissing from many customer recordsCollect the TRN from every VAT-registered customer
Item descriptionsGeneric names such as Services or GoodsRename items with specific descriptions
AddressesFull address stored in one text blockSplit into street, city, and country
Unit codesUnits such as Box or Lot are not standard codesMap each unit to a valid UN/CEFACT code

Why choose Perfonec as your Zoho partner

Perfonec also works with QuickBooks, TallyPrime, Odoo, and Sage 50 in the UAE. As a result, we have no reason to push Zoho Books when another system fits you better. We recommend it when it suits your size, industry, and team.

We also build our own e-invoicing connectors, QBESync for QuickBooks and OESync for Odoo. Consequently, we understand the PINT AE data rules from the inside, and we apply that knowledge to Zoho Books projects.

You can verify our partner status yourself on the Zoho Partner Directory. We encourage you to check any partner you consider.

Zoho Books pricing and implementation cost

Two costs apply. First, you pay Zoho for the subscription plan you choose. Second, you pay a partner for implementation, migration, and training.

We do not quote a fixed price on this page, because scope changes the cost. Instead, the free assessment gives you a written scope and quote. Check current plan prices on Zoho’s UAE pricing page before you decide.
